I’ve been a part of the Deer and Turkey classic for a number of years, first as a vendor with Minnesota Sporting Journal Magazine and now, for the last few years, as a content creator.

After a couple of hours sitting at the welcome table inside the front door handing out free stuff, I usually take a lap around the venue with a camera and try to showcase some highlights for those of you that couldn’t make it out.

This year, I met up with Jen Pudenz who was making her first appearance at the show and took her around Canterbury Park. We talked to Melissa Bachman, Pat and Nicole Reeve, Jared Mazurek from MDHA, Jamie Rockney (Chick of the Woods) and the brother/sister duo who shot giant elk in northwest Minnesota last fall.
