The annual Lake of the Woods trip has come and gone.  The fishing was superb to say the least, and according to other accounts, everybody faired quite nicely.  The last day of the trip we got onto a hot bite in a new spot.  Tom was able to stick another dandy, and my dad put the first slime of the year in the boat.  He was a little bugger, but was hungry for a spinnerbait!  One after another we lit up the walleyes, like the days prior.  If you can, drop everything and get on some of the best walleye fishing Minnesota has to offer.  From Lac du Bois…I’m Ben Brettingen
